Our Philosophy

People first, then process, then technology. Always in that order.

Our logo is a compass for a reason. A compass doesn’t tell you where to go. It helps you figure out where you are and which direction to head. That’s what we do.

We help organizations navigate their technology decisions, starting with the people affected by the change and the processes that need to work before we introduce technology. We measure our success by what our work made possible for your team, not by how impressive the technology looks or how dependent you are on us to maintain it.

Our Story

What We Believe

People, then process, then technology. Always in that order. Technology serves people, not the other way around.
The journey matters as much as the destination. We walk with you through the transformation, not just hand you a plan.
Build capacity, not dependency. When we leave, your team should be stronger than when we arrived.
Document everything so the next person isn’t starting from zero.
Be honest about what to do and what not to do. We’ll tell you when something isn’t worth the investment.
Measure success by what changed for your organization, not by what we implemented.

We’re a small team, which means you work directly with people who know your project. You won’t get handed off to junior staff after the contract is signed.
We’re experienced enough to deliver professional results, and small enough to be responsive when things change. We’re not interested in building something impressive that collects dust. We want to build something useful that your team actually uses.

Minneapolis, Minnesota.

We work with nonprofits because we believe in the work you do: conservation, human services, performing arts, legal aid, and beyond. Technology should amplify your mission, not drain your resources.
